Mallory Park Summer Training Evenings Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Mallory Park, one of Britain's premier closed-circuit race tracks. Nestled within this picturesque venue is an open-water lake that adds to its allure, offering a serene setting for training and leisure activities. Whether you're a solo runner looking to push your limits or part of a group seeking camaraderie, these summer evening sessions cater to all levels of fitness enthusiasts. The track provides the perfect environment for cyclists and runners alike, boasting smooth tarmac that is traffic-free and ideal for honing skills in various conditions. Open Water Swimming Dive into Mallory Park's pristine lake, where swimmers can choose from a range of lap options tailored to their ability level. Perfect your technique by timing laps or develop sighting skills in group settings. For those who prefer a more relaxed approach, explore the new addition for 2026: adventure around the back of the island when conditions permit. Cycling & Running The smooth tarmac circuit is designed for cyclists and runners to dial in their bike position, practice group riding techniques, or engage in structured run sessions. Transition racking areas are available, allowing participants to refine their transitions like pros during triathlon-style training. Session Times: Every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Pricing Options: - Pre-booked tickets cost £8.50 (recommended for planning purposes) - Tickets on the day are priced at £9.50 (Note: Booking in advance is mandatory, as no gate payments will be accepted) Monthly passes are available to regular attendees at a discounted rate. Coaches and Kayak/SUP Users: Coaching sessions can take place using kayaks or SUPs near the lake's edge, but please ensure you maintain clear space for swimmers. Coaches attend free of charge. Juniors & Families Under 16-year-olds must be supervised by a competent adult at all times. A paying adult may bring one child under 12 years old without additional cost; extra children will need to purchase tickets. Please note: Fast-moving cyclists utilize the track, so stay alert and aware of your surroundings. Due to new automated gate systems, access through the main entrance is restricted after 6:30pm. Follow signs for competitor entry if arriving later (w3w: ///trips.tidal.greeting). Join us this summer at Mallory Park for an unforgettable training experience in a unique and inspiring setting. The final session of the season will take place on Wednesday, September 9th, with special Run & Bike sessions scheduled for August 2nd, 7th, and 9th. Remember that dogs are not permitted beyond the green entry gates at Mallory Park. Enjoy your training in this remarkable environment!
