Main Street Mile to benefit Lee High School XC

The Lee Wildcat Main Street Mile returns on Saturday, September 19, 2026, offering runners the chance to race through historic Lee just before the annual Founder's Day Parade. This fast and flat one-mile course begins at Canal Street and winds its way past charming storefronts and vibrant neighborhoods before finishing near the bustling Lee Athletic Field on Housatonic Street.
Participants will experience a lively atmosphere as they run alongside enthusiastic spectators who line the streets to cheer them on. The race is open to runners of all ages, with special pricing for students in grades K-12: $10 per student and $20 for adults. Early registration by September 1 ensures guaranteed shirt availability.
In addition to a competitive course, top male and female finishers will receive prizes, while the youngest racers—ages 6 to 13—are also recognized with awards for the first three boys and girls in their respective age groups. This event not only celebrates community spirit but supports local youth athletics by raising funds for Lee Middle & High School's X-Country Team.
