About the event
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of Réunion Island's Cirque de Mafate for an unforgettable trail running experience. The Mafate Trail Tour (MTT), Ultra Mafate Trail Tour, and Mafate Trail offer runners a challenging journey through rugged terrain and stunning scenery.
The 54-kilometer MTT course winds its way along narrow paths that twist around verdant hillsides and lush valleys, providing glimpses of cascading waterfalls and dense tropical forests. The Ultra Mafate Trail Tour extends the adventure to an epic 70 kilometers, testing endurance as it traverses even more remote areas within this isolated cirque.
For those seeking a shorter yet equally scenic route, the 38-kilometer Mafate Trail offers spectacular views of Réunion's volcanic peaks and verdant gorges. Each trail is marked with unique charm, from the vibrant flora to the serene solitude that defines these trails. Runners will encounter steep climbs, technical descents, and moments of awe-inspiring beauty as they navigate this challenging yet rewarding terrain.
Join fellow enthusiasts for a day filled with natural wonder and personal challenge in one of Réunion's most pristine settings.
