Celebrate the joy of trail running with our community over three exciting Fridays this September. Inspired by last year's successful fun runs, this series offers something for everyone—whether you're bringing your family along, aiming to break personal records, or simply enjoying the outdoors on a Friday evening. The series kicks off on September 11 with a kids run and a timed ascent of Dreadhead Mini VK, followed by an untimed descent via RedTop. On September 18, participants can choose between a 5 km and a 10 km race for both adults and children. The final installment takes place on the confirmed date, September 25, with similar options to ensure there's something for all ages and abilities. Each event features family-friendly activities designed to foster community spirit while enjoying some of our most scenic trails. Whether you're an experienced trail runner or a newcomer looking to explore this terrain, these races provide a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can come together, enjoy the outdoors, and have fun.

About Rossland

Rossland is in the West Kootenay region of south central British Columbia. High in the Monashee Mountains, the city lies immediately east of the intersections of BC highways 3B and 22. The facilities provide a winter base for the nearby multi-peak ski hills of the Red Mountain Resort.
