Starting at the Xishan Village Committee Plaza, Wangezhuang Subdistrict, Laoshan District, Qingdao, this race runs October 6-7 with a 3,000-runner cap across a "Viewing the Mountain" 15KM sunset run, an invite-only "Embracing the Mountain" 40KM course preview, an "Encountering the Mountain" 25KM, a second "Viewing the Mountain" 15KM, and a "Gathering the Mountain" 5KM. Registration is first-come, first-served, with early-bird pricing through August 15.
The 15KM sunset run (800 spots, 16.4km actual, 855m gain, ITRA 1 point) starts Oct 6 at 15:00 with a 4-hour cutoff; the invite-only 40KM (100 spots, 38.7km, 1,647m gain, ITRA 1 point) starts Oct 7 at 7:00 with a 12-hour cutoff; the 25KM (800 spots, 26.4km, 1,316m gain, ITRA 1 point) starts 7:00 with an 8-hour cutoff; the second 15KM (800 spots, 16.4km, 855m gain) starts 8:00 with a 4-hour cutoff; the 5KM (500 spots, 5.43km, 349m gain) starts 8:30 with a 3-hour cutoff.
