About the Event

Autumn Series: Kendal South Orienteering Event – October 14, 2026
Join us for the Kendal South leg of this year's Autumn Series, featuring two courses to cater to all levels of experience. The event takes place in and around the heart of Kendal on Saturday, October 14, 2026.
Participants can expect a mix of urban terrain with town centre streets, residential roads, narrow alleyways (ginnels), steps, cobbled pathways, and scenic parkland areas. This diverse landscape offers an engaging challenge for both newcomers and seasoned orienteers alike.
For those looking to explore the sport in pairs or groups, this event encourages team participation by allowing you to enter under one name while adding accompanying runners' details through the 'Additional names and ages' option on registration. Additional maps can be requested if needed.

All attendees are reminded to adhere to British Orienteering's Participation Codes of Conduct, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
It’s important for non-members of British Orienteering to be aware that they will participate at their own risk as public liability insurance coverage is not provided. However, all are welcome to take part in this exciting orienteering adventure.
Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult due to the urban setting and varied terrain.
