LiveWell 5K Walk/Run/Roll & Celebration returns to Superior, Wisconsin on Thursday, August 13th, 2026. The event is hosted by LiveWell, an initiative of the Pruitt Center for Mindfulness & Well-being at UW-Superior, which supports mental health in Douglas County and beyond. Barker’s Island Festival Park serves as the venue for this year's walk/run/roll. Participants will gather on a firm but slightly soft surface that offers a pleasant atmosphere on race morning. A designated starting line marks the beginning of this journey through the park's trails and pathways. The finish area will feature food and entertainment options for all participants. Elevation changes are minimal on the course, making it suitable for a wide range of runners. Aid stations are not provided due to its nature as a non-timed event; however, refreshments and socializing opportunities await at the post-race celebration. Weather conditions include firm but slightly soft ground underfoot and moderate UV levels, ensuring participants stay safe while enjoying their evening.
