LiveOnNY Donor Hero's 5K Run/Walk 2026

Join us for the LiveOnNY Donor Hero's 5K Run/Walk on September 20, 2026. This meaningful event takes place at Fountain of the Planet Universe Court in Queens, NY and offers both a run and walk option to accommodate all fitness levels.
Participants can gather early on race day with registration opening at 8:30 AM for a chance to interact with fellow runners and walkers before the start time. The running portion begins promptly at 9:00 AM, followed by a more leisurely walking event starting at 10:30 AM. Both events are rain or shine, so be sure to dress accordingly.
The course winds through picturesque neighborhoods in Queens, offering scenic views of local landmarks and parks along the way. The terrain is generally flat with some rolling hills that provide a challenging yet manageable experience for runners and walkers alike.
Proceeds from this event support LiveOnNY's mission to increase organ donation awareness and honor those who have generously given life through their donations. It’s an opportunity not just to enjoy exercise in beautiful surroundings, but also to contribute positively to the community.
Be sure to arrive early to pick up your race packet and take advantage of pre-race activities such as stretching sessions led by Misty Mountain Runners, one of our dedicated sponsors for this year's event.
This 5K is more than just a run; it’s an inspiring journey through Queens that celebrates the heroes among us who have made remarkable contributions to organ donation and transplantation. Don’t miss out on being part of such an uplifting experience in support of a vital cause.
