Live Like Liam 5K Run & Walk

On behalf of Live Like Liam Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting children with special needs and medical challenges, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Last year, more than 600 community members came together to honor the life of Liam Zoghby and make a lasting impact.

Liam—a brave young man from Jamesville-DeWitt, born with DiGeorge Syndrome—taught us the power of courage, positivity and commitment to: “Find The Good.” Though we lost him in January 2024 at just 22 years old, his spirit continues to guide our mission.

Thanks to your generosity in 2024, we have been able to:

• Establish an annual scholarship for a graduating Jamesville-DeWitt High School senior
• Make contributions to Ronald McDonald House, supporting families in need
• Create an endowment at The Upstate Foundation for chromosome research and to ease hospital burdens for parents
• Launch a endowed scholarship at Syracuse University’s InclusiveU program, empowering students with special needs
   

Because our foundation is run entirely by volunteers, every dollar raised goes directly into programs that support local families and children.

We are now excited to announce the 2nd Annual Live Like Liam Walk & Run on Saturday, November 29, 2025 starting at 9am, at Jamesville-DeWitt High School. 

The event includes:

• A 1.22-mile walk

• A 3.22-mile run

  (The “.22” honors Liam’s chromosome 22 challenges)

   

This is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of hope, resilience, and community. Whether you join us as a participant, volunteer, or sponsor, you’ll help continue Liam’s legacy and support families who need it most.
