Little Blackfoot

15k & 30k course descriptions

In this trail race runners now can choose 15k or 30k. Both distances are out-and-back, starting near Kading Campground on Little Blackfoot River Road. All runners will start together, running to the end of the road and dropping down onto the trail that accesses the Llittle Blackfoot Meadows trailhead. Runners will encounter two wooden bridges over the creek after which they will continue up the trail to Blackfoot Meadows, the turnaround point. All runners will head back down to the start/finish area. This is the finish line for 15k runners. 30k runners will continue through the start area, cross the road, and head up the Kading Grade trail to climb a new route to the top of the Continental Divide. After enjoying an awesome view, they'll retrace their steps to the start/finish.
