Lincoln-Way Half Marathon & 10K!

The Lincoln-Way Half Marathon & 10K 2026 is a signature athletic event supporting the Lincoln-Way Foundation, which provides supplemental funding for the Lincoln-Way Community High School District. Scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, the races start and finish at Breidert Green Park in the historic downtown area of Frankfort, Illinois. The half marathon follows a USATF-certified course beginning at 7:00 AM CDT, with the 10K starting shortly after at 7:15 AM CDT. The event also features a "Virtual Runner" option for those who wish to support the foundation's educational mission without participating in the physical race.

Frankfort is a village in Will and Cook counties, located approximately 35 miles southwest of Chicago, with a population of approximately 20,500 residents. It is frequently recognized as one of the fastest-growing and most desirable suburbs in the Midwest due to its award-winning schools and historic "1890s" charm. Demographically, Frankfort is approximately 84.2% White, 6.8% Black or African American, 4.1% Hispanic or Latino, and 3.2% Asian. The village is highly affluent, with a median household income of roughly $118,000, and over 53% of residents hold a bachelor's degree or higher.

By the morning of May 2nd, the streets will be filled with runners competing for top overall honors, while the community gathers at the results area to celebrate the continued success of the Lincoln-Way student body.
