About the Event

We have added a 5K option to our event. Choose either the 5K or the 5 mile race. CHIP TIMING! No more hand timing. Packet pick up at the Nature Center on Friday, Oct 2nd from 2:30-4pm and race morning 8:00-8:30am.

Enjoy a 5 mile or 5 K trail run among the beautiful fall colors of the Lime Creek Nature Center trails. The scenic trails will guide you through both restored open prairie and wooded areas bordered by the Winnebago River. This event is for everyone! From those who enjoy competing against others to those who just want to take a leisurely stroll or jog for some great scenery and exercise. Early entry ends August 23rd at noon. Register by midnight, Sept 17th and receive a long-sleeved tech fabric race shirt. All entries will receive a gift card for $20 to our sponsor's store: Wayne's Ski and Cycle. Trophy to overall male and female winner in 5K and 5mile races. Medals for age group 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places (5K only: 14 & Under, 15-19) (5 mile only: 19 & Under), 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-69, and 70 & Over. We have a wonderful sponsor who will match Wayne's $20 gift card with a $20 cash donation to Lime Creek. Your entire entry fee + $20 goes directly to Lime Creek for LCNC Programs.

Please note: Parts of the trail may be rocky and therefore no spikes are allowed!

Entry fees: Early entry by noon, Aug 23rd: $40

T-shirt deadline by midnight, Sept 17th: $45

Registration after midnight, Sept 17th: $45 and no guaranteed shirt. Can register in person on morning of race 8am to 8:30am.
