The race has seen explosive growth, nearly decupling its participant numbers in just three years, a testament to the high-energy atmosphere fostered by the BDS United organizers. With a village base located at the iconic Oasis bar, the event blends a competitive edge with a festive spirit, complete with a live DJ, collective warm-ups, and dedicated areas for massage and styling.

The 2026 edition centers on a perfectly traced 5km loop that participants navigate either once for the sprint or twice for the flagship 10km challenge. This traffic-free circuit ensures a focused and secure environment, allowing runners to maintain their rhythm while soaking in the unique vistas of the Vauban citadel. Beyond the physical feat, the event carries a strong social dimension through its partnership with the Institut IJA, supporting visually impaired individuals. Every finisher is honored with a commemorative medal, and those leading the pack can look forward to special rewards during the podium ceremony.
