The Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees are excited to be continuing Lexington's best Thanksgiving tradition with the 14th Annual Lexington Gobble Wobble 5k!

On Thanksgiving Day, we will be hosting both a 5k (walk or run) and Children's Fun Run, making this a community event the whole family can participate in! So come out and enjoy the festivities, but don't worry, we'll still get you home in time to put the turkey in the oven!

*Children's Fun Run Registration will be available starting at 7:30am of the day of the race, and a guardian must be present to sign the waiver. 

Open to runners/walkers of all abilities. Strollers welcome. Pets on a leash are welcome. 

Schedule

• 7:30am - Registration Opens (5K & Children's Fun Run)
• 8:30am - Children’s Fun Run Start
• 8:45am - Warm-up
• 9:00am - 5K Race Start
• Awards presentation & photos with Gobble Wobble turkey mascot to follow.

Race Amenities:

• Chip timed
• Pre-registered 5k participants will receive long-sleeve race t-shirt WHILE supplies last (must register by Nov. 1st to guarantee a shirt)***
• Post-race water and refreshments
• Overall and age group awards in the 5k

***The deadline to receive a t-shirt is November 1st. If you register after that date, we cannot guarantee a Gobble Wobble t-shirt but will have extra shirts available while supplies last. Sponsors must send in materials by Sunday, Oct. 26 to be included on t-shirts. 

PACKET PICK-UP

• Tuesday, November 25 at Lex Running Shop from 3-6 pm
  
• Wednesday, November  26 at Lex Running Shop from 3-6 pm
• Day of packet pickup will be available starting at 7:30 AM at Maury River Middle School
