About the Event

The popular Lévis Promutuel Assurance Half Marathon brings together thousands of participants on the south shore of Quebec City. The course, much appreciated by runners, is downhill and fast. The half-marathon will start at Galeries Chagnon, near Sports Experts. Participants will run 4 km through the neighborhood streets before reaching Boulevard Guillaume-Couture at Monseigneur-Bourget, then joining the bike path from Rue Saint-Joseph. The next 14 km will take place on the stunning Parcours des Anses, which offers spectacular views of the river and Quebec City. The finish line is at Juvénat Notre-Dame de Saint-Romuald. The 5km, 10km and 21.1km courses are measured according to international standards and are certified by Athletics Canada. Therefore, times achieved in the 21.1km, among others, are accepted as qualifying times for events such as the New York City Marathon. Our event is sanctioned as a Gold event by Athletics Quebec.
