The Virées de Funrun returns to Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes on April 18 and 19, 2026, for a high-energy weekend that blends trail running with a festive community atmosphere. This event is unique for its Saturday night "nocturnal" trail sessions, allowing runners to experience the local terrain under the stars. Beyond the races, the weekend features a sports village and plenty of entertainment, including a post-race concert and a communal meal for participants.

Saturday Night Festivities
The Saturday schedule is designed as a celebration of night running. After the 10 km and 20 km nocturnal trails conclude, participants are invited to a Paella Party hosted by the organizers. The evening's entertainment is rounded out by a live concert featuring the band FmR. Given the night-time starts, all runners participating in the 10 km and 20 km events are expected to carry a functional headlamp and follow safety protocols for low-visibility trail running.
Sunday Family and Team Events
Sunday shifts the focus to team spirit and family fun. The Run & Bike events (8 km and 16 km) require a team of two, where partners alternate between running and cycling. This is followed by the Course des Familles, a free 2 km race designed to get children and parents active together. Throughout the morning, the sports village remains open, offering various animations and a central gathering point for the local athletic community.
Registration Information
Registration is managed through the Chronometrage.com platform and will remain open until April 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM. There are participant caps for several categories, with approximately 270 spots available for the 10 km and 20 km distances as of mid-March. Runners can also purchase "Pack" registrations that combine a Funrun race with other local events like "Entre Dhuis et Marne." No registrations will be accepted on-site the day of the event, so participants must secure their spots online in advance.
