LES VIRADES DE L'ESPOIR - ECCICIA SUARELLA

Trail runners are invited to experience the charming landscapes around Eccica-Suarella with the Trail de la Virade de l’Espoir. This welcoming and accessible course offers something for all levels, winding through picturesque paths that weave their way into the heart of this quaint village.
The race begins at 10:00 AM in front of Eccica-Suarella’s town hall, setting off on a scenic 10 km route with approximately 400 meters of elevation gain. Participants will venture onto surrounding trails, passing by the Sampiero stela and ascending towards Cauro village before descending back to Suarella via winding paths.
The course continues through Saint-Jean-Baptiste’s area for one final loop before returning to Eccica-Suarella where participants can cross the finish line amidst warm applause from spectators. The event is designed not only as a race but also as an afternoon of camaraderie and celebration, with Miss Corse 2026 serving as the honorary marraine.
After crossing the finish line, runners will enjoy live music by Carine and Paul while savoring an apéritif followed by a hearty countryside meal. Both participants and their guests are invited to indulge in this shared festive experience that encapsulates the spirit of solidarity and community that defines La Virade de l’Espoir.
