LES FOULÉES DE BRASPARTS

On August 8, 2026, the Brasparts Foulées will celebrate its 39th edition as part of the Armorik Trail Challenge. This year's race offers two distances: an 11km route with a total ascent of 166 meters and descent of 376 meters, and a more challenging 21km course featuring 344 meters of elevation gain and 553 meters of drop.
Participants will gather at the Mont Saint-Michel de Brasparts (though it's actually located between Saint Rivoal and Brasparts) for their respective start times: 16:30 for the shorter race and 16:45 for those tackling the longer distance. The event organizers have set a three-hour time limit for competitors on the 21km course, with all runners needing to cross the finish line by 19:45.
The terrain is varied, offering both muddy and rocky paths as well as stretches of soft ground, ensuring an engaging experience for trail enthusiasts. Apart from brief sections that involve crossing roads near the start and end points, most of the race takes place on trails through scenic countryside. Two dry toilets will be available close to the starting line.
Race numbers can be collected at Brasparts' multi-purpose hall beginning at 14:30. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each category as well as overall winners for both distances.
After the race, those interested may join a celebratory dinner with live entertainment. The menu features classic Breton dishes such as tomato salad and vegetable medley, ham on the bone served with ratatouille and potatoes, complemented by a traditional kouign amann pastry.
