Les BOUCLES du VAFA

Join the Villeneuve-d'Ascq Fretin Athletics for their sixth edition of the Boucles du VAFA, an exciting march nordique event set to take place on Monday, November 1st, 2026. The race starts at 10:30 AM from the picturesque lake near the Héron (hunting pavilion) in Villeneuve-d'Ascq.
The Boucles du VAFA offers three distinct distance options for participants to choose from:
- A short and scenic course of 5,400 meters.
- An intermediate route spanning a challenging yet rewarding 16,200 meters.
- The longest option is the 10,800-meter race, which also counts towards the Regional Challenge in March Nordique for Hauts-de-France.
The event caters to all skill levels and offers an engaging atmosphere with stunning natural surroundings. Participants will enjoy a day filled with fresh air, scenic landscapes, and friendly competition as they navigate through varied terrain along the lake's edge and surrounding woods.
In addition to the exhilarating experience of march nordique, the race also includes reduced entry fees for FFA-licensed athletes at checkout time. Entry costs are as follows:
- 5,400 meters: €7 (excluding Adeorun registration fee)
- 16,200 meters: €17 (excluding Adeorun registration fee)
- 10,800 meters: €18 (excluding Adeorun registration fee)
