Don't miss the 2026 edition of the Marcelcave Corrida, an unmissable fixture on the regional race calendar! This convivial and festive event promises a flat and fast course for runners with all sorts of goals. Whether you're aiming to break your personal best time or simply enjoy some family fun, Marcelcave offers something special for everyone.
The 5-kilometer route consists of three laps around an officially measured circuit, making it ideal for clocking quick times and mastering racing paces. Each kilometer is clearly marked along the way. Additionally, this race counts towards the Challenge Courses 80 series.
A new addition to the event lineup in 2026 includes a kids' run of 1,000 meters designed specifically for young athletes aged between 7 and 14 years old. This fun-filled afternoon offers families an opportunity to share in the excitement of competitive running together.
The Marcelcave Corrida welcomes runners from all levels—from seasoned competitors to casual participants—promising a supportive atmosphere with enthusiastic spectators cheering every step along the way, regardless of your pace or goal.
Registration fees are €7 for FFA-licensed athletes and residents of Marcelcave, while others pay €9 plus handling fees. Prices increase after November 10th. For children's race entries, it’s €2 for FFA members and local residents, with a fee of €4 plus processing costs for other participants.
Packets will be available on the afternoon before the event at Marcelcave Town Hall from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on November 15th. The town center will close to traffic between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM to ensure a smooth running experience.
Training sessions for those preparing for the corrida begin every Thursday starting September 17, meeting at Marcelcave Town Hall's front steps at 7:00 PM sharp. See you there!
