Les 10 km de Belfort

On April 4, 2027, runners of all levels converge in Belfort for an enjoyable and competitive day filled with scenic routes and urban green spaces. The event features two main races: a 10-kilometer race and a shorter 5-kilometer run, both certified by the French Athletics Federation at the bronze level, offering official times and qualifying marks for national championships.
The course winds through picturesque parks and gardens in northern Belfort, with stretches along the tranquil Savoureuse River. The terrain is predominantly flat, with less than 20 meters of elevation gain, making it a fast and smooth run on paved roads and cycling paths. Participants start and finish on an athletics track at the heart of Belfort.
For younger participants, there's also a fun 2.3-kilometer race for children scheduled earlier in the morning. The event organizers have designed the course to cater to all runners by minimizing overtaking issues between casual joggers and more experienced racers, ensuring everyone can enjoy their run without interruptions.
After crossing the finish line, participants are invited to relax at the on-site facilities which include changing rooms, showers, a refreshment stand with snacks for those in need of sustenance or just wanting to celebrate a personal best. The atmosphere is lively and supportive, making it an ideal day out for runners looking to challenge themselves against a scenic backdrop.
The event promises not only competitive racing but also the chance to explore Belfort's natural beauty while pushing your limits on its well-maintained paths.
