About the Event

The Porto de Leixões Corrida is a event hosted by Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo (APDL), Eventsport, and the APDL Culture and Sports Centre, with the support of Matosinhos City Council and Matosinhos Sport. This event encourages the public to embrace a healthy lifestyle through sport, all while enjoying the views of the Port of Leixões. The race includes a 10 km run and a 5 km walk, which offers participants of all levels an opportunity to challenge themselves or enjoy a stroll. Starting and finishing at the historic Nossa Senhora das Neves Fortress in Leça da Palmeira, the event promises a festival-like atmosphere filled with energy.
