Legwork For Lungs returns on November 7, 2026, marking its tenth anniversary with the community gathering at Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick, NJ. This year’s edition features both a competitive 5K run and an inclusive 1-mile walk designed for all fitness levels. Participants can look forward to enjoying live music, engaging games, raffles, and plenty of refreshments provided by local sponsors.
The event kicks off at 11:00 AM with the start of the mile walk followed by the 5K race beginning promptly at 11:45 AM. Both events are rain or shine, ensuring that no weather conditions will dampen the spirit of this important cause. Proceeds from Legwork For Lungs go directly towards lung cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, supporting vital initiatives during Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
