L'Échappée Plagnarde is an exhilarating cycling adventure set to take place at the end of August amidst the breathtaking landscapes of La Plagne. This non-competitive ride welcomes all cyclists, offering several routes tailored to various skill levels and allowing participants to explore iconic mountain passes, scenic roads, and panoramic vistas in a friendly yet spirited atmosphere.
Cyclists will have the opportunity to challenge themselves while enjoying the beauty of their surroundings as they pedal through some of the most stunning Alpine terrain. Whether tackling the shorter route without any major climbs or conquering the longest course with its formidable elevation gain, riders can expect an unforgettable journey filled with personal achievements and scenic delights.
Three routes are available:
- The introductory loop that avoids significant ascents totals 37km with a modest ascent of 905 meters.
- For those seeking more challenge, there is a 55km route featuring 2290 meters of elevation gain.
- A middle distance course covers an impressive 76km and includes 2877 meters of climbing.
- The grand tour spans 108km with a daunting total ascent of 3709 meters.
