On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the picturesque village of Saint Tricat will host the Trica'Trail, an exciting race organized by the local festival committee and Calais Terre d'Opale Trail. The event offers a variety of distances suitable for all ages and skill levels. Registration is open until Thursday, October 8th at midnight through Adeorun's platform. Participants can look forward to enjoying a scenic run along the trails around Saint Tricat, which lies just ten minutes from Calais. The race day will kick off with the Trica'Marche, a leisurely 9km walk designed for children born before October 11th, 2019. The event also features two running categories: Trica'Poussins and Trica'Benjamin.e.s - Minimes. Both are free of charge and cater to younger athletes aged between 6-15 years old. For more experienced runners, the main attraction is the challenging 12km Trica'Trail starting at 10:15 AM for participants born in or before 2011. A shorter but equally engaging 7km option begins shortly after at 10:30 AM. All participants will receive a complimentary bottle of artisanal lemonade upon arrival, and those over the legal drinking age can choose between another serving of this refreshing drink or a cold beer as part of their finisher's rewards. The race starts and finishes on Rue de l’Église in Saint Tricat, easily accessible via exit 40 off A16 (towards Boulogne or Calais), just minutes from the Frethun TGV station. Race numbers will be available for collection at InterSport Calais between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 10th. Alternatively, participants can pick them up starting from 8:15 AM on race day itself. To add to the fun, a raffle draw will take place after the award ceremony for all registered runners who are present at the event.
