Le TRAIL du TOUR d'HORLOGE

Trail Tour de l'Horloge is set to take runners and nature enthusiasts through the scenic landscapes of Carvin on Sunday, September 27, 2026. This annual race offers participants an immersive experience with courses that wind through dense forests and historic coal mine terrils.
The main event features a challenging 16-kilometer trail run starting at 9:30 AM. The route is designed to showcase the area's natural beauty while testing runners' endurance, with a total elevation gain of 162 meters. Participants can look forward to navigating through lush forests and over former mining sites that offer unique terrain and historical insights.
For those seeking a shorter but equally engaging experience, an 8-kilometer course begins at 10:00 AM, also featuring the forest paths and terrils with a climb of 93 meters. This race is ideal for runners looking to enjoy the scenic route without committing to the longer distance.
The event also includes options for those who prefer walking or Nordic walking. A march nature event starts at 10:05 AM on an identical course as the running events, and it's perfect for anyone wanting a leisurely exploration of the area’s natural features. Additionally, Nordic walkers can join in with their poles starting at the same time.
A family-friendly option is available too. At 10:10 AM, families are invited to participate in an un-timed 10-kilometer walk through the forest and terrils that caters specifically to children under a certain age as of September 27, 1996. This event offers a relaxed atmosphere where parents can enjoy time with their kids while exploring the beautiful surroundings.
Packet pickup is available on Saturday, September 26 at INTERSPORT in Noyelles Godault or on race day from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM near the start/finish line. All events begin and end at the Léo Lagrange Activity Hall located at Rue Picasso, Carvin.
Registration is required for all participants, with no walk-up sign-ups allowed on event day. The entry fees range between €5 and €14 depending on the chosen activity, ensuring that everyone can partake in this enriching outdoor experience.
