Nestled among the scenic landscapes of Nabeille, Le Nabeillou Trail offers runners and hikers an array of challenging courses that cater to all levels. Whether you're looking for a quick jog or a longer adventure through nature, this event promises unforgettable experiences. The shortest course is a 6.5 km run known as "La Course Nature Rose," which features a modest ascent of just 200 meters and starts at 10:00 AM. This route provides runners with an invigorating morning outing without the need for any mid-run refreshments, making it ideal for those seeking a brisk start to their day. For those who want more distance underfoot but still enjoy manageable elevation gains, there's the "Les Deux Lacs" course at 12.5 km. With a climb of 400 meters and starting times as early as 9:30 AM, this route offers scenic views around two lakes while providing refreshments halfway through to keep energy levels up. The most ambitious option is the full-day "Les Trois Lacs" trail at 25 kilometers. Starting promptly at 9:00 AM, it features a challenging ascent of 700 meters and includes water stations at both the 6 km mark and again later on at kilometer 18 to ensure runners remain hydrated throughout their journey. In addition to these competitive courses, Le Nabeillou Trail also offers a leisurely hiking option for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. The "La Rando" hike mirrors the route of the Les Deux Lacs trail but in reverse and is non-timed, allowing participants to enjoy stunning views at their own speed. After completing your chosen course, refuel with traditional Aligot (a creamy mashed potato dish), sausages, dessert, and coffee. The cost for this hearty meal is 12 euros, providing a perfect end to an active day outdoors. Participants can also purchase the official event t-shirt as a memento of their adventure in Nabeille. For those interested in supporting local initiatives, there's an option to make a donation directly from the event website.
