The Montagrier Trail offers an array of running options for athletes of all levels, set against the stunning backdrop of rolling hills and lush greenery. The main attraction is the 32-kilometer trail race that challenges participants with a total elevation gain of 985 meters, starting at 09:00 from Le Chêne Vert. For those seeking a shorter but equally scenic route, there's the 17-kilometer Chêne Vert Trail. With an ascent of 495 meters, this race kicks off just after the main event at 10:00. Both races are designed to showcase the beauty and rugged terrain that define the Montagrier region. Adding a unique twist to the day's events is the Agrésienne, an all-female 8-kilometer trail run with a climb of 125 meters, starting promptly at 9:45. This race celebrates women in sports while providing them with a challenging yet rewarding course through picturesque landscapes and forests. On par with this female-only event but for the male runners is L'Agresien, also an 8-kilometer trek with the same elevation gain of 125 meters, setting off at 9:30. Both events are designed to foster a sense of camaraderie among participants while offering them an invigorating run through nature. Completing the day's offerings is a leisurely guided hike that departs from the starting line at 10:05 for those who wish to enjoy the scenery without the competitive edge, making it ideal for families and casual enthusiasts alike. After the races, participants are invited to join in on the festivities with a complimentary buffet-style meal featuring local cuisine, available from 12:30 onwards. This event not only celebrates running but also brings together runners and their supporters in a vibrant community atmosphere. Whether you're an experienced trail runner or new to the sport, there's something for everyone at The Montagrier Trail events.
