Polar Bear Cup 2026eisbr2 2nd International LCC Polar Bear Run Half Marathon 7km, 14km and 28km - supporting event (also 2nd scoring race for the 25th Polar Bear Cup) LCC running events – by runners for runners! Organizer: LCC Vienna Date: February 15, 2026 Start time: 10:00 AM Deadline: 1:00 PM Awards ceremony: approx. 1:30 pm Entry fee: €30 ( online registration ) Late entry: €32 (Thursday and Saturday), €33 on race day Attention: The reduced entry fee of €85 for online registration of all 3 races does not apply to 3 individual registrations, but only to online cup registration. This offer is no longer valid after the first Polar Bear Race. Start/Finish: The start is located on the Prater Hauptallee at the junction of Marathonweg/Stadionbadparkplatz into the Hauptallee, see also route map. Course: The race follows the traditional 7km loop, which is completely flat, free of private vehicles, and marked with kilometer markers. The course has been officially measured by AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Road Races). In the half marathon, the circuit is run three times; in the third lap, the turnaround point is moved by the missing 97 meters. The start and finish are therefore the same. In the 28km distance, the 7km loop is run four times, with the first turnaround point at Praterstern each time. Ratings: Traditional age group classification for half marathon, 14km, 28km and 7km run Cup standings: The two best half-marathon results from the three-part cup series count towards the Polar Bear Cup standings. Participants must have started in all three Polar Bear races and finished at least two half-marathons to be included in the cup standings. Finisher ranking: All runners who participate in all three polar bear races (regardless of distance) will receive the polar bear medal and a polar bear functional shirt.
