Last Buckeye Standing Backyard Ultra

The Last Buckeye Standing Backyard Ultra returns to Lewis Center, Ohio on August 8th for a day of endurance testing on the Alum Creek Hiking Trail at Alum Creek State Park. Runners will embark on a series of 4.167-mile loops beginning at exactly 7:00 a.m., with each loop starting precisely every hour until only one runner remains standing.
The race takes place along scenic and wooded trails that wind through the grass ski paths and single-track routes near Alum Creek Reservoir, featuring moderate elevation changes of up to 200 feet per lap. The morning starts early in Lewis Center as runners gather at the park's starting line for a day filled with challenges under potentially unpredictable weather conditions.
