Last at the Lake 50k & Last Standing

Experience the heat and beauty of West Point Lake with Last at the Lake on Saturday, July 23, 2027. This summer trail running event offers two thrilling options: the Last Man Standing endurance challenge and a traditional 50K race.
The Last Man Standing begins early Friday morning, inviting runners to complete a grueling 5K loop every hour until only one remains standing by sunrise on Saturday. The final survivor takes home $100 in cash.
For those seeking a single day’s adventure, the 50K trail race kicks off at 8:00 AM on Saturday. Runners navigate ten laps of scenic Turkey Run Trail, with stunning views along West Point Lake and through shaded woodland paths. Each lap offers approximately 150 feet of elevation gain, testing both endurance and speed.
Both races provide well-marked courses, aid stations, and a supportive community atmosphere. Participants can expect friendly volunteers cheering them on throughout the day as they push their limits in Georgia's summer heat. Race swag includes finisher medals and t-shirts for all participants who cross the line.
Don't miss this chance to challenge yourself or simply enjoy the camaraderie of fellow runners at one of Georgia’s most unique trail running events. Register early, as spots are limited!
