LAMPANG MYSSTIC TRAIL 2026 by Run Happy Series

The LAMPANG MYSTIC TRAIL, organized by Run Happy Series, invites runners to explore the enchanting landscapes of Lampang, Thailand on November 13, 2026. This trail race offers four distances: a challenging 70km with over 3,180 meters of elevation gain, a scenic 55km covering nearly 2,210 meters, an adventurous 25km with around 820 meters of climbing, and a shorter but no less captivating 10km route.
Participants will traverse through dense forests teeming with life during the late rainy season's early winter period. The course winds its way past mist-shrouded Doi Khun Tan hills, lush green valleys, and breathtaking waterfalls hidden in deep gorges. Runners can also expect to encounter serene sand dunes that lead into tranquil villages like Mae Tala Nao.
The race fosters a deeper connection with the local community and natural environment, promoting conservation efforts among residents and national park officials alike. The event is designed for all levels of runners who wish to experience Lampang's mystic beauty while supporting sustainable tourism practices.
Registration packets will be distributed on November 13 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Kalayaninwattana Ruamrudee Thai Elephant Conservation Center. The race itself begins early Saturday morning, with staggered start times for each distance based on anticipated finish times.
Runners participating in the longer distances must adhere to strict equipment requirements including a backpack, headlamps, emergency supplies, and waterproof gear to ensure safety throughout their journey through varied terrain and challenging conditions.
