La Villemombloise

La Villemombloise is an annual running event set to take place on October 18, 2026, offering runners the choice between a 5-kilometer and a 10-kilometer course. Organized by the sports department of Villemomble, this race accommodates up to 500 participants who will be guided by an enthusiastic team of over 80 volunteers.
Participants in both races start from the Parc des Sports Georges Pompidou and run through the scenic streets of Villemomble. The shorter distance consists of a single loop around town, while the longer course includes two laps to challenge runners with varied terrain along the way. All proceeds include a donation of 2 euros per participant towards "Espoir pour le cancer," adding an extra layer of meaning to this community event.
Entry fees are set at €10.15 and can be paid online by completing a health prevention questionnaire, filling out an entry form, and obtaining parental consent for minors. The race is open to runners of all abilities, including those with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate in this vibrant community event.
In addition to the main races, La Villemombloise also caters to younger athletes by offering shorter distances specifically designed for children: a 500-meter run for kids aged 6 to 9 and a 1,000-meter race for those between 10 and 12 years old. These events take place on the athletics track at Parc des Sports Georges Pompidou under the supervision of Villemomble Sports Athlétisme.
For those preferring a more leisurely pace, there is also an open walk event available to all participants, providing a welcoming environment for everyone in the community to join and enjoy.
