La Villageoise

La Villageoise takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, starting from the Parc de la Mairie in Sathonay-Village, Métropole de Lyon, France. This 21st edition nature running and walking event features an 18km run, 11km run (solo or duo), 6-10km hike, and free children's races. The event donates €4,000 to two local charities: Amélie la vie and Amouti Autisme. • Bib pickup: Saturday, June 6 (15:00-18:00) and Sunday, June 7 (from 7:30 AM until 15 minutes before each start).
• Children's races (free): Born 2015-2020, sign up on site 10:15-10:30 AM, start at 10:45 AM.
• Cup-free event – bring your own reusable cup or hydration flask (no cups at aid stations).
• Post-race: Free beer (Single Track), fresh fruit, crepes, barbecue, picnic tables, live music, free photos.
• Free services: Osteopathy, reflexology, medical service, coffee welcome, bag check.
• Club & corporate challenge: The club and company with the most participants win awards.
• No strollers on course. Dogs on leash permitted.

• 18km – Grande course nature: For experienced runners. Starts at 8:30 AM. Estimated finish from 9:40 AM.
• 11km – Course nature (solo or duo): Accessible to all levels. Starts at 9:15 AM. Estimated finish from 9:50 AM. Duo format returned due to 2025 popularity.
• Marche nature: Choice of 10km (great loop) or 6km (short loop) on race day. Starts at 8:50 AM.
• Children's races: Short, fun distances – free, no registration.
• Scenic setting: Town hall park and wooded paths – a natural, authentic, resourcing environment.
• Atmosphere: A race that does good – to the body (nature course), to the heart (family-friendly, convivial), and to others (€4,000 to charities). Festive, musical, and welcoming.
• Spectator experience: Music, crepes, barbecue, picnic, and cheering at the start/finish area.
