Experience the magic of a high-altitude winter race in the heart of the Vosges mountains at the Trace Vosgienne Hiver on Saturday, January 31, 2026. This popular cross-country skiing event, held at the La Tenine ski area in La Bresse and sanctioned by the French Ski Federation, offers three beautiful distances to choose from: a 30 km challenge, a 15 km classic, and a 7.5 km route, with dedicated Baby and Kids Traces for the youngest participants starting at age 2. Whether you're a licensed competitor or a recreational skier, the event welcomes everyone to glide through the stunning snowy landscapes on professionally groomed tracks.
Participants who are not members of the FFS must purchase a one-day "Ticket Course" license and complete a health questionnaire during registration. As with any mountain event, the organizers note that course distances may be adapted based on snow conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for all.
