Join a movement of inclusion and athletic spirit at the 9th Edition of La Solidaire de Brest, taking place on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Organized by the dedicated Sport Management students of the University of Brest, this event is designed to prove that sport belongs to everyone, regardless of ability. Set against the fresh coastal backdrop of the Polder in Brest, this solidarity race isn't just about reaching the finish line—it’s about supporting APF France handicap and Des Étoiles dans la Mer, with all proceeds helping to empower those living with disabilities.
The 2026 program offers a diverse range of distances to ensure every participant finds their stride. High-performance athletes can tackle the Semi-Marathon (21.1 km), while those seeking a fast urban challenge can opt for the 10 km or 5 km courses. For families and food lovers, the 7 km Gourmet Walk provides a unique opportunity to explore the flavors of Brittany while enjoying the seaside scenery. Younger athletes aren't forgotten, with the "Petite Mouette" (Little Seagull) 1.5 km run dedicated to children aged 8 to 11. All routes start and finish at the Rue des Mouettes, creating a centralized hub of energy and community support.
Registration for the main running events is highly sought after and often reaches capacity early, so securing your spot via Klikego before the March 22 deadline is essential. To comply with modern safety standards, all participants must provide a valid Health Prevention Path (PPS) or a medical certificate. Bib collection takes place throughout the week prior at La Poèm, ensuring a stress-free race day. Whether you come for the competition or the gourmet treats, your participation helps shine a light on sports accessibility in the heart of Brest!
