Organized by CAP SEILLON, this annual gathering offers runners two courses to choose from: a 17-kilometer run through winding trails and lush greenery, as well as a scenic 10-kilometer march designed specifically for nordic walkers and hikers.
The event takes place at the picturesque Gymnase des Vennes on the Route de Seillon in Bourg-en-Bresse. Participants start their journey from this central location before venturing into the heart of the forest, where they will encounter a mix of terrain that includes gentle slopes, flat stretches, and challenging ascents.
The 10-kilometer march is non-competitive, allowing walkers to enjoy the peaceful surroundings at their own pace while taking in stunning views. Both courses are meticulously designed to highlight the natural beauty of Seillon Forest, with its dense canopy providing a refreshing respite from warmer temperatures.
All proceeds from this event benefit Rêves, an association dedicated to fulfilling dreams for seriously ill children. By participating, runners and walkers not only challenge themselves physically but also contribute to a meaningful cause that brings hope and joy to young lives in need.
