LA ROSE FLAMANDE Marche pour Joël

Join us at the Foyer socio-éducatif on 1 Avenue de la Liberté in Bergues for an exciting day of walking and running. Gather from 8:00 AM, with staggered starts between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM to accommodate all participants.
Four distances are available:
A family-friendly 4km walk takes you around the historic ramparts of Bergues, passing through Groenberg Park (not accessible for wheelchair users). Well-behaved dogs are welcome on this route.
For a more extensive adventure, choose from two longer options that start and end at the same points as the shorter routes but include additional kilometers in the scenic Bois des Forts forest: 9.5km with an extra loop of 3km through the woods, or the full-day challenge of 14km featuring a 7.5km trek into the heart of the forest.
All participants can look forward to enjoying local delicacies along their journey. Savor freshly made waffles and indulge in Bergues cheese and sausages at various points on your route. The longer distances also offer samples of La Rouge Flamande beer, while those choosing the 4km walk will enjoy just the sweet treat of waffles.
Upon crossing the finish line, you'll receive a refreshing drink and a sandwich to refuel after your efforts. Plus, all registered participants are entered into a raffle for additional prizes at the event's conclusion.
Experience the charm of Bergues while exploring its historic sites, lush green spaces, and local flavors on this engaging day out.
