LA PRAYSSACOISE

Join us on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Espace Maurice Faure complex for the fifth edition of La Prayssacoise – an engaging and charitable sports event open to all. This year's event is set to bring together people of all ages in support of breast cancer awareness.
The main attraction is a scenic 6-kilometer route that can be tackled either by running or walking, offering participants the chance to enjoy a friendly and spirited atmosphere while contributing to an important cause. The course winds through the charming streets around Prayssac, providing beautiful views and a memorable experience for runners and walkers alike.
New this year are special events designed just for young athletes:
- For children aged 6 to 8: An invigorating 800-meter race
- For kids between 9 and 11: A challenging 1500-meter course
These races take place around the local stadium, with each participant receiving a finisher's medal and a complimentary snack upon completion.
The event kicks off at 8:30 AM when participants can collect their bibs. At 9:00 AM sharp, children’s races begin, followed by a group warm-up session led by Marine Rostand from My Sports Prayssac at 9:45 AM. The main 6-kilometer race and the walk start promptly at 10:00 AM.
After the event concludes around noon, there will be a prize-giving ceremony and raffle draw. Throughout the morning, various health-related stands under the sports hall offer valuable information on cancer prevention and wellness initiatives. Food trucks provide convenient dining options for attendees in an upbeat setting.
Entry fees are as follows:
- For the timed 6-kilometer race: €12 (includes a commemorative t-shirt and raffle ticket)
- For walkers, children's races, and those aged five years or older: €7 (also includes a raffle ticket)
The top three male and female finishers in the 6-kilometer event will each receive special awards.
Registration for La Prayssacoise is mandatory and must be completed online via Chronostart. No on-site registrations will be accepted, so make sure to review the race rules before signing up. By registering, you agree to adhere fully to these regulations.
