Just a good ol' 5k race / walk on beautiful Michigan Avenue in La Porte, Indiana on Thanksgiving. We've been doing it for a hot minute. All proceeds from the La Porte Turkey Trot go to the La Porte Educational Development Foundation which benefits students at La Porte Community School Corporation.
