La NORDI'PARC

On Saturday, October 10th, 2026, the AC Outreau hosts the fourth edition of LA NORDI' PARC DU MONT SOLEIL in Oureau. This national-level marche nordique competition spans a challenging course of 11 kilometers and 500 meters over four laps, starting at 2:00 PM for those born before 2010.
The event is open to all skill levels but requires participants to be FFA licensed if they wish to compete officially. Non-licensed individuals can still participate in the marche nordique competition by paying an additional fee of €2 on top of the standard registration cost of €16, which includes a processing charge. The race serves as a qualifier for both the 2027 French Championships and the 2026/2027 Hauts de France challenge.
For those looking to introduce their children or friends to marche nordique, there's also an open family event at 9:30 AM covering a more relaxed distance of 8 kilometers. This walk is suitable for anyone aged six and above and does not require medical certification or timing, making it ideal for beginners who want to enjoy the park without competitive pressure.
Participants can pick up their race packets from the Nordic village located on Rue du Parc du Mont Soleil in Oureau between Friday, October 7th at 4:00 PM and Saturday, October 8th until noon. However, day-of registrations are not available for the competition marche nordique.
The event is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to support local causes as well. For each registration made, €1 will be donated to Spina on La Côte Association. Additionally, top finishers in both categories (male and female) receive cash prizes ranging from €15 up to €80 for the first five places of the overall race. The winners also have a chance to take home gift baskets filled with local products.
