About the Event

On Sunday, September 13th, "Team À Vos Marques" invites runners and cyclists to participate in its third annual fundraising event dedicated to cancer research. The day promises an array of activities that cater to various fitness levels and interests.
The festivities begin early with the option for participants to start their journey as early as 8:00 AM until noon, offering flexibility for those who prefer a leisurely pace or wish to combine multiple events in one day. Cyclists can choose from two VTT (mountain bike) routes—17 kilometers and 35 kilometers—or opt for longer cyclo rides of either 50 kilometers or 70 kilometers.
For runners, the highlight is undoubtedly the Course Nature du Hamster, a challenging race that takes place in individual or relay formats. Teams can compete by completing one lap or as many laps as possible within three hours on a circuit measuring 6.5 kilometers each. This course allows for continuous participation until 12:00 PM; any completed loops before the cut-off time count toward participants' totals.
A more relaxed option is available with an organized 10-kilometer walk or run starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a shorter but equally scenic 5-kilometer march nordique (Nordic walking) event beginning at 10:30 AM. These events are perfect for those looking to enjoy the outdoors while contributing to an important cause.
Participants in the Course Nature du Hamster can look forward to recognition with awards presented around noon, celebrating the top three individual male and female finishers as well as the first-place relay teams. This event is not just a race but also a day of community spirit and solidarity.
