Kyles 10 Miles Run/Walk

The Kyles 10 Miles, nestled along Scotland’s enchanting Argyll’s Secret Coast, offers runners and walkers an unforgettable journey through some of Britain's most breathtaking scenery. This circular route begins from the picturesque village of Tighnabruaich, winding around the stunning Ardlamont Peninsula with panoramic views of Mull of Kintyre and Arran.
The first half is a challenging uphill trek that tests your endurance as you navigate rolling hills before leveling off for the second leg along the coastal road leading to Kames. The race features chip timing for runners, ensuring an accurate record of each participant's performance. All finishers will receive both a medal and a moisture-wicking t-shirt.
Sponsored by Radisson RED Glasgow and the Kames Hotel, this event boasts monetary prizes and trophies specifically awarded to male and female overall winners as well as veteran categories (40+ and 50+) for runners.
Registration is available online at £32 per runner (£30 if affiliated with UKA or SAF) and £25 for walkers. Participants must be at least 17 years old on race day, and all affiliated entries require the submission of a valid UKA or SAF number during registration.
The event starts promptly at noon in front of Royal An Lochan (a ten-minute walk from Kames Hall), with an earlier start time of 11 am for walkers. Both events conclude near the Kames Hotel where refreshments and BBQs await all finishers. Limited restroom facilities are available at the starting line, but public restrooms can be found in Tighnabruaich or Kames.
