Conquer the highest peaks in Brazil at the 2026 KTR Campos do Jordão, an elite trail running event held in the "Brazilian Alps." Taking place on April 10–11, 2026, this race is legendary for its high-altitude arena, situated at nearly 2,000 meters. Unlike most Brazilian races that end on a descent, the KTR Campos features a grueling final climb to the finish line, providing a breathtaking physical and mental challenge. Runners navigate technical trails through the Serra da Mantiqueira, rewarded by panoramic views of the Paraíba Valley and the distant Serra do Mar. The event is characterized by its semi-self-sufficient nature, emphasizing athlete safety, mountain discipline, and a deep respect for the rugged, high-altitude environment.

The 2026 edition offers six distinct distances, ranging from a 7 km introductory course to a massive 80 km ultramarathon. The event infrastructure is split between the vibrant Bairro do Capivari for Ultra starts and kit pickup, and the high-altitude Arena KTR at Pico do Itapeva for shorter distance starts and all finishes. Every participant receives a premium Kailash athlete kit, with early registrants benefiting from additional performance gear like fleece jackets and travel bags. Strict mandatory equipment rules—including waterproof jackets, emergency blankets, and thermal layers—are enforced across the longer categories to ensure safety in the unpredictable mountain climate. Beyond the competition, the event serves as a grand celebration of trail culture, culminating in a festive awards ceremony at the Capivari Acoustic Shell.
