Kraanvogelloop - 10 EM

On January 31, 2027, Spark Athletics Club presents the fifth edition of the Kraanvogelloop, a scenic 16.1 km race through Spijkenisse. Starting and finishing at the athletic track within Atletiekpad 1 in Spijkenisse, runners will cross the iconic "De Kraanvogel" bridge early on in the course before continuing along the Oude Maas and Wolvenpolder. The route is certified by the Athletics Union for accuracy.
Registration closes sharply at 6:00 PM on January 30, 2027, with no day-of entries permitted. Participants will receive a €17.50 entry fee that includes an Ipico-chip timing system and a memorable race souvenir. A hydration station midway through the course offers sports drinks and water to keep runners fueled, while warm tea awaits at the finish line.
The Kraanvogelloop is not only about crossing the finish line but also enjoying the picturesque landscapes of Spijkenisse and connecting with fellow athletes in this welcoming community event.
