About the Event

SoSOL presents its fifth installment at Kames, an industrial site nestled within the rolling hills of Ayrshire near Muirkirk. This course weaves through an expansive moorland landscape last utilized for racing in 2016, featuring a rugged terrain dotted with old mining pits and depressions that challenge both navigation skills and physical endurance.
Cairn Table hill looms over the area, casting its imposing shadow across the tussocky grasslands where few established paths exist. Participants will find themselves navigating through dense vegetation and uneven ground, requiring sharp attention to detail for successful route finding.
The East Ayrshire Car Club has generously made their car park available at no additional cost to entrants. This convenient facility serves as a central hub for race day activities. Just minutes away is the Muirkirk Caravan Park, which will be open to all visitors offering food and refreshments throughout the event.
This unique setting combines historical industrial heritage with natural beauty, providing an unforgettable racing experience that tests both body and mind.
