About the Event

The Kaiser Permanente Seafair Torchlight Run is back again, returning on Saturday, July 26, 2026. This fan favorite will once again fill the streets of Seattle as thousands of participants lace up their sneakers and race ahead of the iconic Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade. The race will kick off at 6:00 PM, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of family fun and entertainment.

This year, Seafair is taking both the Torchlight Run and Parade back to the night—and what better way to celebrate than with a Neon-Themed 5K? Whether you’re rocking glowing shoelaces, bright body paint, or a full LED costume, we want to see your shine. Got a team color? Show it off! This is your moment to sparkle, glow, and most importantly—have fun.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the newly revitalized Seattle Waterfront, the all-new race route offers runners a unique chance to experience downtown like never before. Open to runners of all experience levels, the Torchlight Run is perfect for seasoned athletes, casual joggers, first-timers, and families looking to enjoy the summer spirit of Seafair.

Once you cross the finish line, the celebration doesn't stop. Stick around for the Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade, beginning at 7:30 PM, and enjoy live entertainment, music, and vibrant Seattle energy as the city comes together in celebration.
