Just Tri It Youth Triathlon

The Just Tri It Youth Triathlon course is entirely contained within City Park’s boundaries. Participants will swim 250 meters in the lake before transitioning onto bike paths that wind through the park's scenic landscapes for a 13-kilometer ride. The run portion takes place on paved and dirt trails, totaling 4 kilometers as they complete their triathlon journey back to the starting point at City Park. Notable features include several water stations and rest areas set up along the course where volunteers will cheer on participants.
On race day, expect temperatures around an average of 26.5°C with a feeling like temperature in the mid-20s due to high humidity levels. Winds are typically light at about 11.7 km/h, but runners should be prepared for conditions that might affect their pace and endurance. The surface is generally well-maintained, though participants may encounter some uneven spots as they navigate through City Park.

The race starts in front of the historic Manhattan Community Center, located at 45th Street and Main Avenue. Participants must be at least 8 years old or accompanied by a guardian. First-timers should arrive early to familiarize themselves with the course layout and warm up properly before the start.
