Embark on an epic journey through deep time at the Jurassic Extinction and Jurassic Coast 100 events from June 20th to 21st, 2026. This premier ultra-running challenge traverses England's stunning Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, offering a choice of five distances from a 33km coastal challenge to the monumental 105-mile "Jurassic Extinction" from Poole to Exmouth. Test your endurance on the relentless, beautiful trails of the South West Coast Path, with thousands of meters of climbing, self-navigation, and full live GPS tracking for safety. Organized by Climb South West, the event is a qualifier for the South West Trident and awards coveted ITRA/UTMB points and unique finisher buckles or solid oak coasters. With entries opening on July 25th, 2025, this is the ultimate 2026 ultra-running event in the UK for runners and walkers seeking a historic, coastal adventure of a lifetime.

About Studland

Studland is a village and civil parish on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, England. The village is located about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the town of Swanage, over a steep chalk ridge, and 3 miles (4.8 km) south of the South East Dorset conurbation at Sandbanks, from which it is separated by Poole Harbour. The parish includes Brownsea Island within the harbour. In the 2011 census the parish had 182 households and a population of 425, though many of the houses in the village are holiday homes, second homes, or guest houses, and the village's population varies depending upon the season.
