JTBC Seoul Marathon

The JTBC Seoul International Marathon offers an exclusive running experience for foreign participants, taking place on November 1, 2026. This race is renowned for its scenic route through the heart of Seoul, showcasing some of Korea's most iconic landmarks and historical sites.
Participants will run past major attractions such as Deoksugung Palace, Dongdaemun Gate, and Gwanghwamun Square, immersing themselves in a blend of ancient history and modern urban energy. The course also winds through areas significant to Korean sports history, including the 2002 FIFA World Cup Stadium and sites from the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
The event is celebrated as one of Korea's most popular marathons, with both full marathon and 10K distances selling out on the first day of registration. Due to overwhelming demand, a raffle system was introduced this year for foreign runners wishing to secure their spots in future editions.
This vibrant race attracts young enthusiasts aged primarily between 20s and early 30s who are supported by leading global sportswear brands throughout the event. The marathon is organized by JTBC, one of Korea's major broadcasting companies, ensuring a high level of organization and entertainment for all participants.
All international runners must collect their race packs at the EXPO prior to the event using a valid passport that matches the personal information provided during registration. Korean passport holders are not eligible to register through World’s Marathons and may have their registrations canceled upon arrival if discrepancies in identification documents are found.
